rain

Rain to me means a great day to go in your room, lay in your bed and get some r and r. I love falling asleep to the sound of rain. Its really hard to actually get out of the bed in the mornings when its raining. But on the weekends although you usually dont want rain, would be the prime time for it to pour down. Unless you have early morning plans you can sleep in on the weekends and that is always good sleeping. Rain also means that all the little kids want to go out and play in it which is usually frowned upon by moms but its still fun.

veterans

Veterans are a big part of our world. They after all keep it safe and going. We dont really appreciate them until it is pretty much thrown in our face. I have an uncle that is in the military and he is awesome. He just got back from iraq not too long ago and it really is his passion. Although my aunt was pregnant with their second child when he left, it still gave him reason to go. He came home when she was having abby and he left shortly after to go back to work. I cant imagine how hard that was for him, but I know that he knew he had to no matter how hard. He is going to retire out now though because its time for his family and to grow old with them.

this weekend

This weekend was pretty boring, although friday was my birthday I had to work. But work isnt too hard so it was okay. They announced it like 3 times and sang a couple. Saturday was our biggest "sale" of the season so we were pretty busy saturday morning. We opened at 7 and closed at midnight which was insane considering we werent even busy past like 10 o clock. Sunday was just an ordinary sunday, dreading monday and yearning for friday. :)
