  • eating bugs
  • sticking things in light sockets
  • riding a bike behind a car
  • row down a river with a boat with holes in it
  • eating glue
  • actually eating anything thats bad for you or just weird
  • smoking

  • doing something that could perhaps break a bone or actually kill you

Christmas quotes, poems, sayings

Schroeder: This is the music I've selected for the Christmas play. [Schroeder plays Fur Elise] Lucy Van Pelt: What kind of Christmas music is *that*?
Schroeder: Beethoven Christmas music.
Lucy Van Pelt: What has Beethoven got to do with Christmas? Everyone talks about how "great" Beethoven was. Beethoven wasn't so great. [Schroeder stops playing]
Schroeder: What do you mean Beethoven wasn't so great?
Lucy Van Pelt: He never got his picture on bubble gum cards, did he? Have you ever seen his picture on a bubble gum card? Hmmm? How can you say someone is great who's never had his picture on bubble gum cards?
Schroeder: Good grief.

Patty: Try to catch snowflakes on your tongue. It's fun.
Linus Van Pelt: Mmm. Needs sugar.
Lucy Van Pelt: It's too early. I never eat December snowflakes. I always wait until January.
Linus Van Pelt: They sure look ripe to me. (poemofquotes.com)

Charlie Brown: Thanks for the Christmas card you sent me, Violet.
Violet: I didn't send you a Christmas card, Charlie Brown.
Charlie Brown: Don't you know sarcasm when you hear it? (poemofquotes.com)

[Ralphie is visiting Santa at the department store, only he can't remember what he wanted]
Santa Claus: How about a nice football?
Ralphie as Adult: [narrating] Football? Football? What's a football? With unconscious will my voice squeaked out 'football'.
Santa Claus: Okay, get him out of here.
Ralphie as Adult: [narrating] A football? Oh no, what was I doing? Wake up, Stupid! Wake up!
Ralphie: [Ralphie is shoved down the slide, but he stops himself and climbs back up] No! No! I want an Official Red Ryder Carbine-Action Two-Hundred-Shot Range Model Air Rifle!
Santa Claus: You'll shoot your eye out, kid. (www.imdb.com)

Christmas time

Christmas is my absolute favorite holiday!
The snow is beautiful, the people are happy and jolly
The food is delicious and always tastes better than any other time of the year
The smells are warming and just remind you of the season
BUT the malls are crazy, shopping stores are busy and people have crazy eyes for a particular item or toy.
But I guess it all comes with the territory and it is truly Christmas when all these things happen! :)

Merry Christmas

Christmas!

For Christmas Im probably getting money and gift cards. I usually dont get actual things for Christmas because my mom doesnt know what to get me so she just gives me money to get what I want. My family has so many people in it so we dont get presents from everyone. The little kids draw names and buy for eachother, the adults play dirty santa.

rain

Rain to me means a great day to go in your room, lay in your bed and get some r and r. I love falling asleep to the sound of rain. Its really hard to actually get out of the bed in the mornings when its raining. But on the weekends although you usually dont want rain, would be the prime time for it to pour down. Unless you have early morning plans you can sleep in on the weekends and that is always good sleeping. Rain also means that all the little kids want to go out and play in it which is usually frowned upon by moms but its still fun.

veterans

Veterans are a big part of our world. They after all keep it safe and going. We dont really appreciate them until it is pretty much thrown in our face. I have an uncle that is in the military and he is awesome. He just got back from iraq not too long ago and it really is his passion. Although my aunt was pregnant with their second child when he left, it still gave him reason to go. He came home when she was having abby and he left shortly after to go back to work. I cant imagine how hard that was for him, but I know that he knew he had to no matter how hard. He is going to retire out now though because its time for his family and to grow old with them.
